On Thursday, European roaming charges will come to an end.
From June 15th, phone calls, texts and data downloads will cost the same as you pay in the UK whichever country of the EU you are in.

The same applies vice versa – if you phone, text or transfer data from the UK to anyone within the EU you will pay the same price as you would pay in the UK,
The EC reckons that abolition will cost operators €1.2 billion.
Of course after Brexit, the UK operators will be able to re-impose roaming charges.
