Intel flaw fix this week

Intel says it will have a fix available this week for the flaw in its processors.
The flaw relates to the Active Management Technology (AMT) feature which allows a system administrator to take over a PC remotely.
The flaw allows people to access the AMT function without the correct password or without any password.
The flaw is said to have affected Intel’s processors for the past seven years.
The fix will involve re-programming the processors’ flash memory.
It is thought that the flaw affects around 8,000 corporate PCs.
