Uber had 2016 revenues of $6.5 billion for a loss of $2.8 billion, the company reported.
Q4 bookings were up 28% from Q3 at $6.9 billion, but Q4 losses grew to $991 million.
Uber has raised $13 billion and gained another $1 billion when it sold its China operation to a local rival.

Fare revenues are said to cover 40% of costs.
