In Q1, Hyundai overtook Oppo to become the No,1 best-selling phone in China.
The top five smartphone companies in the China market have a collective 70% market share.
Android ASPs continued to increase QoQ and YoY as consumers proceed up-market.
The China phone suppliers are opening shops – Huawei has committed to opening more experience stores in key cities, Oppo will be opening more stores in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities and Xiaom says it will open 1,000 Mi Home stores in the next 3 years across China.
