Intelliconnect (Europe) has launched CryoCoax, a separate brand for its cryogenic connectors and cable assemblies.
“The CryoCoax range of connectors includes sturdily-constructed stainless steel interconnects including SMA, SMP, custom designed products and all common connector interfaces,” said Intelliconnect. They “are used across applications including measurement, test, system quantum computing, space and instrumentation.”
IP68 and glass-sealed hermetic adaptors are available, as are a range of attenuators covering 0dB – 30dB.
Core capabilities include: withstanding 2K and below, stainless steel assemblies to 40GHz, niobium titanium assemblies to 40GHz, cupro nickel cables, non-magnetic cables, SMP connectors, crimp solder-less connectors and 2.9mm connectors.
“As a dedicated division of the Intelliconnect group, CryoCoax has the security of a long-established connector manufacturer at its heart,” said CryoCoax MD Roy Phillips. “Our team of designers and engineers will work alongside customers from start to finish of a project to ensure the best solution is delivered.”
CryoCoax is a member of the British Cryogenics Council (BCC) and the Cryogenic Society of America.
Other applications foreseen include: medical research, material research, dilution refrigerators, superconducting magnet systems, low temperature detector and refrigerated infra-red arrays.
CryoCoax will be at the University of Oxford in September for the International Cryogenic Engineering Conference and International Cryogenic Materials Conference
