ARM adds 328 to UK headcount

ARM had revenues of $1.27 billion in the year to the end of March 2017 – up 22% on the previous 12 months’ revenues.
They are the first financial figures for ARM to be published since its takeover by Softbank last July.
Adjusted earnings were up 7% at £604 million.
The number of employees in March 2017 was 4,852 up from 4,064 the year before.
The UK headcount increased from 1,609 to 1,937.
At the time of the takeover Softbank gave an undertaking to double ARM’s UK headcount in five years.
R&D expenses were up 50% at £349 million.
