Intel to sponsor Olympics

Intel is to sponsor the Olympics in a bid to promote VR which will probably cost Intel around $100 million.

The Olympics have their own internet-based Olympic Channel and the IOC has been keen to make it mire appealing to the young.
Intel intends to bring 5G, VR, Ai and drones to the Channel.
The deal covers one summer and one winter games up to 2024.
Intel joins other major sponsors such as Coca-Cola, Samsung and Alibaba.
