Rolec has released a vertical holding bracket accessory for its mobilCase aluminium electronic enclosures.
The holder can be fitted to walls or machines, and is moulded from black polyamide.
MobilCase was designed primarily for IP65 handheld instruments and controllers, but there are IP54 versions for desktop and wall mounted applications.
Two versions of the case are available:
one-part closed profile for rapid insertion of PCBs
two-part open profile for easy installation of components
Each case is recessed on both sides to accommodate a membrane keypad or product label.
There are three standard widths (80, 100, 130mm) in six sizes, from 120 x 118 x 80mm to 240 x 168 x 130mm – made from (silver powder coated)aluminium extrusions and (RAL 9005 black powder-coated) die cast zinc alloy end covers – two types of end cover are available.
Customisation includes extruding to any length, CNC machining, custom colours, anodising, printing, engraving, laser engraving, EMC shielding, membrane keypads and an assembly service.
In addition to the vertical holding bracket, accessories include: battery holders (2xAA of 4xAA), shoulder strap, desktop tilt stands, hinged brackets, an M16 cable gland and an adaptor for fitting two enclosures together.
This video shows how versatile the cases are.
