Empower RF Systems is offering a 500-2,700MHz 25W solid-state amplifier.
“The 1205/BBM3K5OEL is suitable for broadband mobile jamming, communications and general test,” said distributor Richardson RFPD, which is stocking the amplifier.
“This module uses GaN devices that provide excellent power density, high efficiency, wide dynamic range and low distortion. Performance reliability and efficiency are achieved by employing broadband RF matching networks and combining techniques, EMI/RFI filters, machined housings and qualified components.”
Control, monitoring and protection circuits are built-in.
Features include:
500–2700MHz operation
CW Psat 30W
20W output @ 1dB gain compression (P1dB)
48dB small signal gain
+/-1.0 dB small signal gain flatness (Pin = -20dBm)
28V operation
50Ω input and output
approx 150 x 75 x 25mm
