SEMI July billings up 32.8% y-o-y

The July SEMI billings figure was $2.27 billion – 1.4% down on June’s $2.3 billion and 32.8% higher than the $1.71 billion of July 2016.
“We observed softening in the equipment billings in July following the strong surge in the first half of the year,” says SEMI CEO Ajit Manocha.
“However, overall, equipment billings remain significantly up year-over-year, with 2017 on-track to be a record spending year.”
The last six months billings have been:
February $1,974.0; March $2,079.7; April $2,136.4; May $2,270.5; June $2,300.3; July $2,268.4.
