$5k electric car on sale in China

GM and the China car manufacturer SAIC are selling a small electric car in China for $5,300 after local and national subsidies are deducted.
It is called the Baojun E100.
Currently it is only on sale in Guanxi.
Top speed is 62mph and the battery takes 7.5 hours to charge. The engine delivers 39hp. Its wheelbase measures 5.25 feet and it’s 5.48 feet high.
5000 people registered to buy the first 200 cars and another 500 cars are due to come onto the market today.
The car has a WiFi hotspot, parking sensors, colour LCD touchscreen instruments and air filters.
