‘Smallest’ isolated 8W dc-dc with 4:1 input claimed

Minmax has announced the MDWI08 series of 8W isolated and regulated dc-dc converterts with a 4:1 input voltage range.
Claimed to be the smallest for such a supply, it comes in a 24 x 14 x 8mm 16pin shielded metal DIL with a power density of up to 50W/in3. There is minimum load requirement.
14 models offer 9-36 or 18-75Vdc input ranges, with single outputs ranging across 3.3 – 24Vdc or dual outputs of ±12 or ±15V.
All models feature 1.5kV input-outout isolation, up to 86% efficiency and operation across -40 to +70°C with no forced air (up 10 80°C with derating).
The built-in EMI filter meets EN55022/32 Class A without additional filtering required, and protection includes under-voltage , over-load, and short-circuit.
All models have been qualified per the CB scheme with safety approvals to UL/cUL/IEC/EN 60950-1 and UL/cUL/IEC/EN 623368-1 standards.
All Minmax products are Reach Compliant, RoHS Compliant, Hazardous Substance Process Management (IECQ QC 080000) and conflict Mineral free, with a three year warranty.
