A 30 metre Hyperloop test tube is being built in Holland.
The tube is being put together by the Technical University of Delft (TU Delft), the Dutch national railway NS, and the construction company BAM.
The company set up to commercialise the Hyerloop technology developed by TU Delft – Hardt Global Mobility – has raised $675,000 for the initial rounds of testing.
It will need to raise more to build a high-speed test line by 2019.
In 2021, Tim Houter, CEO of Hardt Global Mobility, hopes to start construction of a commercial line running between Paris and Amsterdam.
